Commercial Tier System

This is the most common communication tier in use for yacht communication, and for good reason – it’s been around for decades and works well. Available in VHF or UHF bands, it offers established radio-to-radio analog communication. Today’s larger and more complex yachts with solid construction often require additional coverage and rich features offered by digital radios. While this line works well for all deck communications, it is not sufficient for communication throughout the vessel. 

For optimal coverage, we recommend this line for yachts that are under 50m in length. Smaller yachts may also benefit from a higher-level communication system.
